Goddamnit! Great timing not to have a PS3! MGS and ZOTE HD collections and I can't have them! Anyone send me a damn PS3! I'll kill someone in return if I have to or be a coke mule!
What style is the gameplay? Is it FPS? TPS? Fighting? Space shooter?
The first game, you get objectives here or there but essentially you just approach enemies with a slowly-expanding arsenal of weaponry and pummel the utter shit out of them while avoiding damage. The second game is even more linear and sometimes has you up against lots of enemies at once (or ones that can beat you all over the place if you blind-rush them). Although you get a few ranged attacks that can be useful, most players generally just go in and bash the shit out of them. Sort of a more free-movement beat-em-up meets shooter with anime plot.
What style is the gameplay? Is it FPS? TPS? Fighting? Space shooter?
Fast paced TPS. You get a bit of melee fighting, different weapons which are called subweapons and fight through other robots and such. http://www.konami.jp/gs/game/zoe2/english/index.html Website for the second. Theres information about the enemies, the story, and its subweapons there. Click on the subweapons for a GIF image preview of how they work. From those, I went from wanting the game really badly to wanting to swipe a PS3 off of somewhere to get the game even if I would be caught and sent to jail and get buttraped. I really love this game. [editline]1st March 2012[/editline]
you do know that these collections are on 360, right?
Paying for live subscription is a big Nope. And I grew up surrounded by PlayStations.
Now I wish that I had a console. Maybe I'll buy them instead and play at some friend's place :v:. Just because I loved these games so much.
FUCK YES ZoE 2nd runner was one of my all time Fave ps2 games, nothings beats landing, calling down the doom beam and just going all shoop da whoop on the enemies ass.
What style is the gameplay? Is it FPS? TPS? Fighting? Space shooter?
I guess 3rd person mecha shooter, but it's got far more of a dodge-based melee system where you need to evade attacks at lightning speed and the shooting tends to be through subweapons and such. It's pretty unique in my opinion. Seriously though, the combat is ridiculously fast paced, especially in the boss battles. Then you get zero shift, and you can teleport instantly to enemies, so it's even faster. [editline]1st March 2012[/editline] The OST's pretty awesome too.
