Total Mayhem drops grenades on death. The way it's phrased in the article sounds like "you can no longer hurt yourself with the grenades you drop when you die."

Poor wording? Total Mayhem now has two components, the "bomb dropped on death" and "your explosives can't hurt you".
Also Anal bomb which now hurts and pleasures for a lot less after the nerf.

The strength of her beam decreases too slowly when you detach naturally (compared to I think instantly if you let go of mb1).
If you hold it down during reload, it's still holds some amount of that increased power
