Does anyone know of a bluetooth media remote for computers?
I have an IR one, but the angle of receiving is rubbish, and I don't want a dongle hanging out of my laptop.
I just want something to change tracks, change volume etc.
Surely there must be something out there, but google is coming to nothing.
I don't want to use my mobile as a remote. I want something with tactile buttons on it.
Does anyone know of such a product? Cheers.
I think the remote for the PS3 is bluetooth.
If you have a smartphone there are apps for this. They work really good.
Sure, any hands-free bluetooth headset should do the trick, but here, why you dont grab yourself a bluetooth mouse/keyboard for that purpouse?

Thanks but I have looked into this already and it's not the solution I want.

I'm still using the keyboard and mouse of my laptop. Its the fact it has no media buttons, and the only volume control is with FN+F5/F6.
I have thought of the idea of buying a really small bluetooth keyboard, but they seem to need to press some sort of FN to access the keys remote too.
I have one of http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/USB-Computer-Remote-Control-Media-Centre-Controller-PC-Laptop-Windows-7-Vista-/221011695321?pt=UK_Computing_Remote_Controls_Pointers&hash=item337552d6d9 and its pretty much ideal apart from the IR is really finicky. I'm just supprised there isn't any just simple remote there that works off bluetooth.
I guess I could just find one with a nano receiver that works using RF and leave it plugged into a USB port.
