Hey guys, well today I turned ON my PC and decided to download some mods from moddb.org.
Then, I noticed, that my normal downloading speed is always around 512kb/s, and now, it's only about 50-100kb/s.
I don't know what the hell is going on, it's not a virus since I scan my computer once in each 2 days.
What I've tried:
Re-booting.
Keeping the computer off for 2 hours.
Turning off the modem for an hour.
Re-activating my modem.
I also checked my download speed on speedtest.net - my download speed is 3,33 MB/s as it always is.
Upload is the same, too.
I tried downloading files from my own country, far away countries and nearby countries, the download speed is the same.
So, what the hell is going on?
It could be the website capping d/l speeds, did you try different sites?
Yup.
Megaupload, rapidshare, mediafire, failai.lt (my country download site)...
Could be your ISP's net struggling at the moment, if they shut down a part of the network for updating and didn't expect there to be such a large load on the remaining part(s)
I'm struggling too at the moment (Denmark, Sydfyns Intranet) because my internet cuts out every 50th second. :frown:
If it continues for the rest of the day, try calling your ISP

That has absoloutely nothing to do with it, unless you mean too much shit downloading
Yeah guys it's fixed now, apparently we had some problem in the internet system.
