So I have a question about streaming.
Is it possible to use second computer to encode your data and then transmit to a RTMP server(like twitch etc)? For example I have 2 computers, 1 for gaming with a XFX 4890 and a second computer with a XFX 7750. I want to do the gaming on the 4890 but I don't want to burden my gaming pc but transfer the data to the second pc and let it deal with the encoding. Is this possible? I don't have the money to buy a $200 capture card right now so that's off the table.
You might be able to get ffmpeg to do it, but I'm not familiar with it.
Basically, your monitor has to be captured in some way, thus putting performance pressure to at least some point. So a capture card might be the only viable option. Looked into it for a while but gave up.
