So my computer is fairly old, the newest thing being my GPU which is about 1-2 years old by now.
My current specs are:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4 GHz
GPU: Radeon HD 5850
RAM: 4 GB DDR2
Motherboard: ASUS P5B-VM DO
PSU: Rosewill 800W
I'd like to keep the price around 300 to upgrade to:
Motherboard (with built in Wifi or a wireless card) that supports DDR3 and Quad Core (which my current one does not)
i5 or i7 processor
8GB DDR3 Ram
I believe my GPU is still fairly good and I can get more use out of it. My desktop is mostly used for gaming/work (programming/word processing/school/ect).
I'd like to play Planetside 2. Other games I play are Mass Effect, League of Legends, GTA ect.
Thanks in advance to suggestions/guidance. I realize an i7 is probably unobtainable at that price range with the other things I am looking for. I'm looking at about a 300-400 range.
