Something worth picking up?
Something worth picking up?
I don't know about the quality of the game itself but it has been in development for ages. It was announced ten years ago, available for pre-order since 2009, failed a Kickstarter campaign in 2012... and eventually got on Steam Early Access through Greenlight the year after that. I'd maybe wait until it's finished (if it ever gets finished).
The game is really cool but it's all a matter of whether they're going to be able to finish it or not.
Something worth picking up?
It's early access and pretty barebones but from what I've played it's pretty neat. Don't buy it now but hell it's something to look out for.
I like what they have and really hope it can get finished, but I can't really justify paying for it as it is
played it, the singleplayer is really weird and seems more based around coop. game doesnt run very well and you get next to no graphical settings. But for a unity game, it looks really nice visually
I find it runs pretty well on my 7950 i5 4670k. Other than that, the lack of content is pretty apparent. But the gameplay is pretty solid. Just needs more damn content. and LAND sharks! Where are they?
it feels unfinished as hell, 2 weapons, dodgy optimization, very tacked on coop/campaign (theres no space sharks yet spoiler) and the regular mp is really basic (and has no meaningful progression i.e. unlocks camos etc)
Would the space sharks happen to have lasers?
Played some last night with friends. Did a coop mission where we killed 35 robots. Then played some versus multiplayer where you run around hallways shooting players with all of two gun choices. I shouldn't be surprised at this point but still I'm shocked at how badly run the Greenlight/Early Access program is run from Valve's end. This should not be for sale.
Wasn't the entire draw of the game space soldiers vs space sharks?
