Quite a few people don't own the 360 or PS3, so the option to just play it on consoles is not there.
Also, people have their preference for platform, and unsurprisingly alot of people on Facepunch prefer the PC.
And really, there's no excuse for them not to release on the PC; that's why it seems more likely that a PC version will be released afterwards, in typical Rockstar Fashion, Sans Red Dead Redemption.

I prefer the PC but it's not a big deal that it's coming out on consoles only. Hell, part of the reason why I own a console to begin with is if there is a game not on PC that I'm interested in. If you have the money to build a decent rig, you surely have enough to dish out $200 for a PS3 or Xbox 360. So there really isn't an excuse. Owning a console is a good investment in the long run because of exclusives (though mainly on PS3), some games just feel better with a controller, games don't release on PC, shit PC ports, or knowing that the online aspect is going to be incredibly inactive on the PC version as compared to the console versions. A good example of that is racing games in general and stuff like Max Payne 3. I'm pretty sure Max Payne 3's console multiplayer is still pretty active yet the PC's MP is pretty much dead.

Nothing's confirmed until we hear it out of Rockstar. Concept art can display just about anything that doesn't necessarily mean it'll be in game. That being said, it seems to heavily imply at it and we've seen the tech back in RDR.
If we're going to make concept art assumptions though, we may be having female cops now as well.

Being able to get a decent rig doesn't mean you can get a console too, PC is used for more than just games, some people can't afford spending that much for something that will just play games. Not to mention that a lot of people just prefer to play their games on PC, like me.
And as far as I know Max Payne 3 multiplayer is more active on PC and not to mention it's an infinitely better game and plays better on PC.

I agree, I prefer to play most genres on PC too. But I have my console as a backup. Besides, we all love the GTA series right? Does it really matter if it releases on PC or not? If you love the GTA series is it really that big of a deal if it doesn't release on a platform you prefer?
