Windows 7 Error Message

Hi,

I was wondering if there was a way to wait out a program that has stopped responding, because whenever I try to import something into a program, it instantly come up with the error message, which give me no other option other than to close it.

In short,
Can you stop the error message, or add more options?

If it's the box saying "xyz has stopped responding", you can just ignore that thing. It goes away when the program turns responsive.
