Yo, MicroSD card being a bitch. Anyone wanna help?

As the title says, my SD card isn't working; I got it from a friend, who lent it to me, but now says I can keep it. Well, okay, it's working, but I can't do anything to edit it, as it says it's write protected. Is there any way I can change this? Is a program available that allows me to add files to it?

I'm not gonna get all "pleeease help me my life depends on this i used to be a model i'll kill myself without this money" on everyone, but hey, please respond adequately.

Is it a MicroSD or SD?

Anyway, Try putting your adapter into different ports (If you're using a USB MicroSD adapter) or restarting your computer.

I've had this problem before. I read that you have to restart your computer :raise:

I know, dumb solution, but it worked for me.

the card has a "HOLD" switch? i know it's dumb but i couldn't do anything with my card because the hold switch was on.
