• Running x86 apps on x64

Hello, here's my problem, I downloaded a program to calculate some stuff for my moped, when I try to run it says that it is not compatible with an x64 OS (here's the actual error) [img]http://gyazo.com/2fff66967b1234deee61e89cb6618e9f.png[/img] It pretty much says that the program is not compatible with x64, is there any way to emulate an x86 OS so I can run this program?
I'm not entirely sure if this is possible, but there's a program called Virutal Machine (VM).. which you could run x86 Xp or something in... I think it's a paid program however. are you sure there's no 64bit version of the program?
As far as I know, 64 bit windows can't run 16Bit applications, It can run 32 Bit apps.
VMWare is a paid program, however you can use VirtualBox which is free. Though that isn't specifically the problem. EDIT; Curious what do you mean by 'calculate some stuff for my moped', however?

This is correct. x64 has no support fo 16bit, 32bit did however. [editline]07:32PM[/editline] [QUOTE=Gishank;25318573]VMWare is a paid program, however you can use VirtualBox which is free. Whatever it is, I imagine it can be done with a more modern program. Yup, you're trying to run a 16bit program there. You could try running it in DOSbox though.

Thanks anyway guys, I've got an old copy of XP that I can dual boot with so I can run the program. [editline]12:07PM[/editline] Didn't see that it was a 16-bit application at first.
