Reccomended GFX card under $150?

Well, I'm currently running a crappy nVidia GeForce 8600 GT because I ended up overheating my old GFX card(well old-new, it was nVidia GeForce 9 series). Basically I'm looking to get a new one, but I need recommendations for one that's capable of running Garry's Mod at a decent frame rate with 400+ props on the map.

Other specs(having overheated my gaming rig, here are this one's):

-2GB ram
-Intel Pentium Dual Core E2200 @ 2.20GHz per core
-32 bit for the fact that this mobo only has a maximum of 2GB ram.
-nVidia GeForce 8600 running on PCIe
-Power supply can be upgraded as needed, as well as cooling.

Any recommendations under $150?

4870 is much better. OP, what's your current power supply. You might not have one able to run a 4870.

we need power supply info (and for fucks sake don't go with any suggestions until we do know)

also gmod with more props would be way more CPU than GPU, where yours isn't exactly the greatest

As far as power supply information, you want the total combined maximum or just the basic outputs?

Edit: Gonna go with 150 and 285W maximum as the numbers. Shitty thing has 2 of the same sticker with different specs. Recommendations for a PSU also taken.

CPU might be a bottleneck though, not sure
