Other devs, take note
“We are making a statement,” began CEO Marcin Iwiński, helpfully. “People just paid full price for our game. We owe them.” that statement right there literally gives a customer faith in their dev; and dev's wonder how to garner interest in their game
I'm getting suspicious of these guys. You can't be this awesome for so long, it's impossible.

Now I wish I could run the game on my rig. [editline]27th January 2015[/editline] Also the game is actually cheaper than most AAA titles even on Steam, I'd pay 50€, other games want 60 nowadays.
“Maybe the ones who thought about pirating would not pirate it,” said Iwiński. “Maybe the ones who wanted to trade it back and get something else will keep it on the shelf. That'd be great, and if not that's fine as well. I hope they'll have fun.”
Great attitude.
Show this to Ubishit and they'll probably have a stroke
They gave me Witcher 2 for free, they don't owe me shit.
I want to donate to them. And also give them my wife.
Didn't they already announce this months ago? Also, as nice as it is, it feels like a cheap marketing stunt to me. Considering how far from release the game still is, they probably could have just packed it all in the game initially, but this way it's played up as free bonus content.
I don't know if it is a marketing stunt or not, but at least they're not screwing over players. Game release is pretty far away but most of the last months of game development time is fixing content not adding more content.
