So, again I don't remember a name of a game I played quite a few years ago.
So from what I recall, it was 3D'ish like, but from up top, like isometric perspective, you had spaceships with which you could gather resources, build new spaceships, kind of red alertish.
Pretty smooth graphics, and it's around 1998-2006 year made.
It also included missions, like you are given 10 ships and you have to destroy all enemies on map.
Maybe anyone played something like it? (I think only one picture is stuck in my head. OH RIGHT, It had ships shaped like a triangle with 3 leg's they go Pew pew pew. (And dark greenish background but I think that's on mission 10 or something))

And just raped Google for 2 hours going through all space games without any luck.

Checked them on youtube, nah ;x
Freespace 1 & 2?
Homeworld?
Conquest: Frontier Wars?
1998-2006? Dude, narrow it down a little.
Sounds intriguing.
You could have a look at wikipedia's list of every RTS ever made.

And the problem is with the names, it was Russian, the CD I had.
Seemed interesting so i quickly downloaded a demo version.
It's so confusing i don't know what the hell to do...
How about Nexus: The Jupiter incident?
Nah, just like Conquest, but a little bit better graphics, though I have to check the conquest out.
Just stumbled upon The Outforce, but yet I dunno if it's it, I remembered the building process, exactly like in it, starts off with wireframes, then turns into a ship.
Sins of a Solar Empire? That sort of goes from a wireframe.
Spring:TA Also builds things up from a wireframe, but that isn't really set in space and has no missions.
Was it a star trek game? I think Armada also built ships via the wireframe method, but then, it doesn't sound like that either.
I guess after all it's The Outforce. Just played demo, not like I remember it, though what can I expect on a 21" inch monitor after playing it in about 2004 on a 15" lol.
Uhh... Space Rangers?
The first thing to come to mind once you said it was russian.
I didn't mean the game.
Most of the games sold back in the day were russian versions, so.
can i have a list of the best space RTS's ?
