Hey guys, I'm about to convert some videos for my IPod touch that I'm getting for christmas, I can't decide between 2 settings, IPod Touch MPEG-4 (480x320) IPod Touch MPEG-4 Wide Screen (720x406) What would be better? I understand the IPod Touch screen resolution is 480x320 but would it be better with the wide-screen? Or would that just be for playing it on your TV?
Widescreen is good for WIDEscreens.
Widescreen is good for WIDEscreens.
But if I used the normal ipod touch 480x320 resolution would the sides be cut off?
I don't know. If the touch isn't widescreen then yes i guess.
I convert all mine to wide screen, It looks better to me.

Would having it on 480p actualy effect the IPod quality when I'm not viewing it on a TV? Because I'm not going to use it with a TV and if the quality is not improved then it's not worth having double the file size!
The widescreen is for if you hold your ipod sideways, the non-widescreen is for if you hold it the right way up.

But, Widescreen @ 720x406 Or 480p @ 640x480 [editline]12:26AM[/editline] I'm going to pick 480p But now that leads me on to, do I pick Highest quality and double the file size or normal and maintain a good size of 200mb a family guy episode. Is there any way I can put 2 videos side to side for comparison on my pc?
