Reverting to racism / sexism etc.. in comedy is easy. In the end it just comes down to someone putting their [I]own[/I] enjoyment over the suffering of [I]others[/I] caused by it — if they can't acknowledge that they are being selfish there is no point, and I've seen people using Carlin/Gervais as [I]serious[/I] arguments too often to be able to say the contrary.
