seems like a reasonable request to me
Its not uncommon for places to require their workers use their products, so... Good to know?
Dogfooding in action.
Well, it isn't an unreasonable request. After all, sharp fails and they won't be able to buy anyones products :)
They're not doing tha though.
They are, but they're not making it a stipulation, it's just a polite "please dogfood our stuff" request.
it sounds more like they're just having a sale for their employees? title makes it sound like they're holding them at gunpoint. yikes didn't notice the last post was so long ago whoops
The firm said it was not mandatory for staff to buy its goods, but confirmed that it wanted workers to choose its products over that of its competitors.
So just like any company? What a pointless news article.
I mean, if your own employees buys a competitor's product, it's a bit worrying, both inside and outside the office. It's like if every Ios programmer bought android cellphones. While it's certainly not mandated for them to buy Iphones, they should still be more interested in buying the product they made in their office rather than one of its competitor.
