I have high hopes. I followed Turtle Rock Studios all through out the development of the original Left 4 Dead. From what I remember, Left 4 Dead was a much more intense and difficult play experience while Turtle Rock was developing.
Also, 2K must have seen promise, I believe they payed a metric shit ton of money for the rights for publishing rights, iirc.
So it's like... NS but with L4D?

Yeah, fucking love Turtle Rock, they've done some just outright awesome stuff when working with Valve.
So this means there won't be a L4D3 right?

Not by turtle rock.
That big gross alien thing from the David Duchovny film, Evolution?
And I thought I was the only one who made Evolution references.
So L4D, but with Aliens?
Sounds awesome.
Can someone update me on the relationship between Valve and Turtle Rock Studios?

I wasn't sure so I turned to the fountain of knowledge known as "The IGN comments" to find out and discovered this explanation:
Ah yes, that age old story. Boy meets girl. Girl closes boy, and incorporates boy into itself. Girl reopens boy. Boy and girl break up. Boy appears on cover of Game Informer.
It helped me.
this is their big next-gen announcement?
yawn.
Anything by Turtle Rock is bound to be good
This seems interesting actually. I wonder if it'll have loot or something, but I'm sure people will probably not be as big of a fan of collecting stuff as I am, and would rather just have a solid game.
