• Question about graphics cards outputs

The monitor I am using takes VGA as a input but the graphics card I might be getting only outputs DVI and I dont want to get a worse graphics card that has a VGA output. So my question is will there be a difference in graphics performance if I uses a on-board graphics card for a VGA output and have a PCI-E graphics card for the actual graphics performance than if I get a DVI to VGA converter and plug it into the DVI output on the GPU?
Most cards, unless the are open box, come with a DVI to VGA converter. There is no performance loss.
if you plug the monitor into the integrated, it will only use the integrated and the card will sit there unused you'll get no performance loss from using a DVI-VGA converter.
It says that the graphics card comes with a DVI dongle, and it says it has a VGA output by a DVI to VGA converter. Does that mean that the DVI dongle is a DVI to VGA converter?
