Yes XP slows down no matter how much you defrag/keep stuff clean
Dumbest question ever
well, at least i like xp more then vista
I loved vista
I never had any trouble with it
When Ever I formatted it will always install all my drivers for me
Xp on the other hand I had to look everywhere to find my drivers.
Also having a good system helps with vista since its pretty greedy on ressources
Had less problems with Vista than XP tbh.
Yes
Alternative: Windows 7.
Why not just upgrade to Win7 instead of Vista?
Not really, but Windows 7 is.
This
Yes. I never had any trouble with Vista, and I liked it more than XP.
However, Windows 7 is much better than both.
The only downside to Vista is that it goes to the login screen and then you have to select task manager, instead of just opening the TM.
Oh and it keeps yapping about UAC being disabled...

Windows 7 is what Vista should have been, really fucking good. Vista was ok.
I really like both, but I wouldn't call one better than the other since both have their share of problems and benefits.
Vista is inefficient shit. So no. 7 is a shitload better than vista though.
Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't Vista use up more ram plus it requires a better gpu for its Aero taskbar/windows etc.

Ctrl + Shift + Esc
Well goddamnit.
XP is pretty good, and I don't want to switch over, ever. But now that Just Cause 2 launched a new era of gaming that won't include it, I might be forced to.
It's been fun, Windows XP 2005 Media Center Edition, but I'm afraid I'll have to *sniff*...let you go...:crying:
Windows 7 is better than XP.
Vista is a heap of shit.
Uhh
...
no?
Not even close
The only thing that was equally as bad as Vista was windows ME.

Nothing was wrong with Vista at all
I'll say no, but I think 7 may be.

7 is certainly better
Yes, XP can go fuck itself.
No... why would you even ask that.
Let's put it this way:
Windows XP is nearly a decade old operating system.
XP is the really grumpy old man you see on some creepy ass old house always yelling at kids to get out of his lawn
Vista is the college student you see always reading and shit and always drinks at Starbucks and is pretty polite
7 is Batman
in conclusion, get Windows 7
No. XP is great. I like Win7 a lot, but it's not worth it to update. Specially when my current OS has done me no wrong.
Vista has it's ups and downs, but I prefer XP.
