I can never get into these huge mods because beating the base game takes so long in the first place.=
Honestly, big content mods like this usually kill immersion and lore integrity. And Morrowind has more than enough content by itself.

Seems they've gotten an elephant to take a steaming shit on lore and immersion.
I fail to see how this example is lore unfriendly/breaks immersion.
Well, Morrowind didn't have stereotypical armor bikinis, and if you're running around with that (which is supposedly the best armor in the game ) and you look at your character and wonder how this thing is more protective than any other piece of armor in the game, yeah, it kinda breaks immersion. A daedric string tanga doesn't give you +150 armor points and makes sense at the same time. Also, Morrowind doesn't really need graphic overhauls, usually they only contribute to wrecking the atmosphere of the game by putting on these "HD" texture replacements and extending the view distance. It's not necessary, Morrowind's style fits its level of detail perfectly. The only thing Morrowind needs is an animation replacer for 1st person animations, and that's already out. [editline]1st January 2012[/editline] If you want something that adds more content, go for Tamriel Rebuilt. They use almost only meshes and textures from vanilla, all the locations are naturally consistent with lore, the added armors and weapons make sense, and it's a lot of content, that isn't just texture overhaul, but new landmass. [editline]1st January 2012[/editline] I love how the maker just compiles loads of other mods into one and doesn't even know what he's putting in, great comment on one of his pictures, where someone asked if the monsters were from Daggerfall (a few of them were ). "I have no idea really. They were released as a modders resource, which I ofc had to include :)" Oh and I'm looking through the images and I realize those two in daedric were actually daedric seducers from Daggerfall (which the author funnily enough doesn't know ), so yeah they do make sense.
I fail to see how this example is lore unfriendly/breaks immersion.
Well, to begin with, night elves are part of WoW, not Morrowind. Unless that's a horrible dark elf remake.
Well, to begin with, night elves are part of WoW, not Morrowind. Unless that's a horrible dark elf remake.
Look like Dremora to me.
I fail to see how this example is lore unfriendly/breaks immersion.
There are no Daedric Bikinis as they would be horribly unnecessary, and there are no scorpions in Vvardenfell due to it's location.
Look like Dremora to me.
I've never seen a dremora with blue eyes and elf ears.
Dremoras are not dark elves in daedric armor. And dark elves don't even look like that.
either way this is a p. bad mod
Why are they replacing Morrowinds amazing music?.
Because they're stupid.
I came here thinking it was Morrowind for Skyrim :( That would've been awesome
Morrowind with half its magic and weapons missing on an engine so horribly incompatible with its original gameplay mechanics and visual style would've been awesome? Doubt it, really.
I wish there was a real rebirth mod I hate how all these major mods keep being done by anumee tweens who really don't like the Elder Scrolls games for anything except for a foundation of running around in an open world with their favorite otaku-desu-kawaii:3~~ characters. It's just like how the only mod for replacing animations in Morrowind is some shitty-done amature job and all the animations are terrible anime fighting poses. The only way to get a truely great "Morrowind 2.0" experience is to spend all day researching and installing different mods. There are plenty of great mods for Morrowind that really improve and add to the game, and some hidden gems as well that not many people know about. It is just a shame that the only way to get this is the manual-research way, and the only "easy to install" compilation mods are done by 12 year old neckbeards/russians obsessed with japan and the idea of being internet-popular.
