Crap. Get a 2500k and a P67 so you can overclock it. You don't need 1010w, get a 650w one. Also get a 560 Ti.
It's terrible. Also get a Spinpoint F3.

terrible and crap, really? I might have limited knowledge on computers but how can it be terrible and crap? That Gpu is very good apparently and the 560 Ti is very similar to the 6950 anyway
Overkill on PSU. BTW, where are you getting parts? I wanted to get that 6950 on Newegg, but they were out of stock. :(

That Gpu is very good apparently and the 560 Ti is very similar to the 6950 anyway
it isnt all about the Graphics card when you make a gaming PC, also you certainly do not need a power suply as expensive as that, Turn it down to 750w or 650w they would work fine, Also get a p67 motherboard. Do not get i5 2400, Get i5 2500k it is much better, All of these you have picked are fine: Optical Drive 1 - Dual Layer DVDRW Drive Graphics - 2gb ATI Radeon HD 6950 Operating System - Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit) Memory - 4gb Corsair DDR3 1600mhz But you need to get a good cooler it is quite important, Buy the coolermaster 212 plus, it is cheap and good. also change the hard drive to a samsung f3 spinpoint and get 1tb not 500gb, the price difference if hardly anything so you might as well get 1tb, lastly id get a HAF 912 case, as it is cheap and looks amazing, the case you have picked is bad, and you need a good case otherwhise everything messes up [editline]13th July 2011[/editline] These are the parts I will be making my gaming pc with this month, I recommend you copy it because it is a hell of alot better than what you have made, and its the same price. If you prefer ATI card to Nvidia then just change the graphics card to what you want. The website I have used is www.novatech.co.uk it is a great site for parts and it is cheap
Wow, thanks lot. But the problem is that when it comes to building computers i am a complete beginner and I wouldn't know what to do
Wow, thanks lot. But the problem is that when it comes to building computers i am a complete beginner and I wouldn't know what to do
It's actually really easy, I just built my first computer a few weeks ago if you have any questions just look up a video on youtube or something... I did not want to mess up my cpu cooler because it involved thermal paste and would have been a pain to fix so I watched a video on youtube showing the same part and it made it extremely easy. That was probably the hardest part when building... EDIT: www.pcityourself.com Helps so much :D
http://www.scan.co.uk/savedbasket/02fc2f84e3d44413aace331861eed48b above build but improved, when comparing prices remember above builds prices don't include vat until the total better mobo, better PSU, lower price even with 1 day delivery remember to remove scansure and it's £785.82
