Hey Facepunch.
I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but I hope the admins can move this to the right section if not.
I'm currently working on a short film about drifting (motorsport) in Denmark. I've been producing videos for years, as I've been a part of a drift team and went with them all over Europe to document our participation in the various events.
Up untill now, my videos have been pretty much the same. Basically 3-5 minute videos of cars and people, with a piece of music slapped on top. So this year I'm focusing more on having some dialouge/monolouge in the videos as I want to deviate from the "music video" genre.
After a brainstorm with the team boss and the driver, we came to the conclusion that we want a voice actor to read up this little introduction script I've written.
I've searched for voice actor agencies but I figured that asking in here would be a better solution. Professional voice actors are expensive (they need food on the table too, you know), and I wouldn't mind using an amateur voice actor as long as he can provide me with a quality recording.
So what I'm looking for is basically a male actor with a voice in the deep range, reading a 100 word script with a serious (albeit with a hint of a loose attitude) tone.
Please feel free to link me to some samples of your work, or hook me up with someone you know who might fit this description. We can discuss the price and further details in a PM if you're up for it.
To get a feel of what the end product will be (somewhat) like, here's one of my previously mentioned "music videos".

I forgot to add an important part: I'm looking for an American voice actor
what's the pay

Depends on the quality, but I'd imagined about $50.
Are you looking for movie preview guy?
No, not necessarily. For a starter, I'm just looking for something at all.
I'm down. I don't have any examples of my work, but I'm a [sp]college[/sp] theatre actor, and I've been in more than a handful of plays [sp]at college[/sp]
Oh you're a bit too late. I found a guy, thread's closed.
