I'm not going to shamefully steal some shit from Overclockers, but... ASUS Sabertooth 990FX $200 + $7.00 Shipping It has fucking SLI capability.... :hfive: Rumors are going about from several leaked images that after E3 AMD will release press confrences regarding 8, and 10 core processors under the Bulldozer Arch. Also, for anyone whom wishes to see the new boards, I will take this, and thank the user Chuckclc from Overclockers. The new Gigabyte motherboards with black PCB are soo sexy.
Kinda makes me regret buying my 890FX board back in January. Maybe I'll be able to sell this one.
Just so that you can guys are aware, the 900 series chipset is almost identical to the 800 series except that it supports the AM3+ socket and therefore AMD's new CPUs.
Bulldozer will be mechanically compatible with Socket-AM3 motherboards but AMD will only officially support the CPU on AM3+ motherboards. To differentiate AM3+ from AM3 motherboards AMD is releasing a new chipset: the 9-series. Functionally the 9-series chipset is no different from the 8-series that it replaces; it'll simply be used on AM3+ boards exclusively.
http://www.anandtech.com/show/4365/computex-2011-asrock-llano-990fx-and-z68-motherboards
They also said certain boards can be bios upgraded too use AM3+
They also said certain boards can be bios upgraded too use AM3+
Apparently not recommended if this post by ASRock is true.

How much of a performance boost doess SLI give anyways?
Just so that you can guys are aware, the 900 series chipset is almost identical to the 800 series except that it supports the AM3+ socket and therefore AMD's new CPUs.
you forgot SLI
These boards are pretty sexy :q: I kinda wish AMD would change its cooler mounts though, it feels like you're gonna crush your CPU when you push it in. It's not like Intel's pushpins are any better though.
Dec-core processors? Every time I hear anything about current developments I realize I need to save up more money.
How much of a performance boost doess SLI give anyways?
In theory, it takes both cards, and utilizes them as one. The backdraws is that many devs support crossfire over sli, and therefore causes some issues in game such as stuttering.
