Crysis:

I get those white splotches flashing on everything green, and white dots on everything dark. My GPU is an HD5770, about a year old, and it doesn't get too hot while playing games, around 150 or so which is perfectly acceptable.

I get these glitches in every game, so it must be a hardware problem, correct?
150 C or F
Driver update, if you haven't already, if its not that, you need new thermal compound/paste, Arctic Silver 5 imo, because your GPU is at frying temperature
150 C or F
Ah, 150F of course lol.
Reinstall directX and video drivers.

65,5 Celsius is nowhere near a dangerous temperature for a GPU. Especially not under load.
Reinstall directX and video drivers.
How do i remove either of those?
Google your graphic's card on how to reinstall video drivers.
DirectX can be reinstalled with this: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=35
The DirectX installer says i have a newer one installed, and gives me no other options. What do?
Oh sorry i gave you an outdated version, I highly doubt it's the problem. It was just a suggestion.
The suspect is either directX, hardware, or video drivers.
Here is what it looks like in game. I even paused to show you, the glitches still happen even though nothing is moving.
and i dunno why it looks like i'm using a controller, i use a mouse _/:v:\_

Audio lag man, fucking youtube....
It's a hardware problem and isn't going to be fixed by updating drivers. You're getting what looks like some odd memory artifacts, if you have any overclock reduce it, remove it, or up your voltage. If you're not overclocked at all, you could just try upping your voltage by a tiny bit and see if that helps, reduce your memory clock below stock, or simply RMA your card. There's not really any other options.
I don't know how to get more power to my card, can you tell me?
[editline]19th August 2011[/editline]
Or at least help me?
It looks like its artifacting. Id throw it in the oven. 380F for 10-15 minutes should do the trick.

There is much debate whether to put the card GPU up or GPU down. I personally put it GPU up because I was afraid that when the solder was hot (and liquid) a component would fall off.
Alright well until i can afford a trip to the shop and get some paste i can deal with the artifacting lol.
Drivers most likely the culprit had this problem with WoW a while back
Is it only in Crysis that is does that? or other games too?
Try ending CCC.exe in task manager before you start the game.

sooo did you read my OP or what.
I don't know, try reseating it? Or if you can, try it in another computer.
soooo I fixed my problem... turns out it was none of these :v: It somehow came unlocked, and wasn't all the way in the slot. :suicide:
wait nope still got it :suicide: looks like i'll be baking this bitch.
wait nope still got it :suicide: looks like i'll be baking this bitch.
Dont do that.
Only put things in the oven as a last resort, or if you really need the card.
Don't put things in the oven. Period.
sooooo what do? re-apply thermal paste?
sooooo what do? re-apply thermal paste?
Your GPU temperatures are fine. I'd follow what Shadaez said.

Depending on your motherboard, you may be able to change the voltage and clock from the BIOS.
Download MSI afterburner and unlock the voltage settings.
alright i moved my core voltage from 1200mV to 1301mV (my mouse is too sensitive to find 1300 :v:)
