Well seeing as how Pit is in the next Smash Bros I don't think he's going anywhere.
Thing is, Dr. Mario, Mewtwo, Pichu and Roy weren't "cut". Their data was on the disc, just unfinished due to bad dev timing.

Their data was on the disc probably because it was just leftovers from Melee. I highly doubt Dr Mario was ever planned to come back. If anything he needs to be a costume but apparently Sakurai doesn't want costumes to become a thing.

Doctor Mario should be just a bonus skin, not a different character. Really, he never acted differently - he just had different effects on his attacks, which a skin *should* be able to do.

I'm not sure "leftovers" is the right word, I don't think they just take data from previous games and copy paste them onto a new disc.
I'm probably wrong about Dr. Mario and Pichu, but Roy and Mewtwo were definitely planned.

Are people fine with getting rid of Wolf due to him being a clone in their eyes or just not caring for the character? Or both?
If it's the clone argument, oh boy, even Falco is closer to Fox, that's how they played in Brawl anyway. In SSB4 in the case they were in who knows.
Either way I think people are looking at this too simply anyway, in terms of "clone" cuts it's probably the character or nothing. Doesn't mean getting rid of them will bring in your most desired in their spot.
(And I don't know about you but I rather have a "clone" than nothing.)

Iceclimbers and ROB are awesome characters and it would suck if they were gone. They're the only ones that i play.

dedede was one of the best heavy characters in brawl, after snake.
I REALLY hope Snake is still in. He was a great and very unique character in Brawl.

Snake is the best heavy character. Dedede is actually lighter than Snake by one unit.
I like to think that the original 12 from the first game are guaranteed to stay; In the case of Ness, Earthbound is coming out on the VC this year, Jigglypuff with Pokemon X/Y (Maybe, they could replace Jiggly with some other pokemon.), and Luigi with Dark Moon.
Captain Falcon, however, I'm not too sure. I'm sure it'd be easy to make a new design for him, but just because he isn't popular at the moment doesn't mean that he should be removed, no?

King Dedede is one of the best characters in the game imo.
Captain Falcon feels more like a Super Smash Brothers character than an F-Zero one by this point. I'd hate to see him go.
But I'd be pretty cool with seeing Lucario (Mewtwo can come back now that it has a new form in X/Y?), Lucas, and Falco/Wolf go.
If they take Meta Knight out I will personally burn Nintendo to the fucking ground
My bet is on Lucas and ROB.
