• Got back from holiday, red light on motherboard no display / startup (sometimes)

So I was overseas for 6 months and now I'm back and my pc doesn't work anymore. Normally when I start my pc I hear a short beep and the bios screen shows after that windows just boots up. Now when I press the power switch one of 3 things happen: 1. A red light on my motherboard turns on; the pc is turned on but I don't get display / bios or anything (Monitors just go into standby I also don't hear the beep like I do normally) it just stays like this forever (all the fans and things do turn on) 2. Same thing happens turns on no bios no display no beep but after a few seconds it turns off and than boots again (still no display no bios no beep) and it keeps doing this loop 3. Randomly it will boot into windows (About onces every 10 boots) and everything is fine games run fine like nothing happened. However when I'm browsing in chrome sometimes my pc will get stuck (When I have music running it sounds like a blue screen is about to pop-up where the last few frames of all the sounds loop) and it will either unfreeze after a few minutes or shut-down the pc. A few things that I tried: Disconnect the GPU and run of the onboard one this didn't make a difference, disconnect the HDD and just run of the SSD and the other way around (Doesn't make a difference) I'm running on a AMD X6 processor ASUS motherboard Nvidea GPU. I also cleaned out all the dust and made sure all the cables are still connected.
I'm not sure, but I think the PSU is guilty here.
Okay dicked around some more since I had nothing to do. It was one of the 4 ram sticks that where faulty it seems to work now will update if it breaksdown again since I might just be lucky that it booted this time.
Huh, well that's funny. Maybe the ram stick just needed to be reseated, so when you put it back it will work perfectly again.
