Yeah, no thanks. Orion was shitty on Source and the devs were absolute children/pricks, especially the main one. He stole like thousands of dollars from development.
Terrible game, please go die already.
Getting desperate, good to see really. Wonder how long it will take until they realize trying to sell a game by advertising the gimmicks and trying to distract from the plain awful core mechanics wont work.
Somebody gave me this game. I think he must hate me.
Aren't we lucky to get to play this game over a weekend.
It's a shame because the Source version was actually kind of decent- it had a good visuals, concept, and art, but it was absolutely ruined by the childish developers. They just wouldn't listen to the community. I think the biggest problem was that guns didn't do enough damage or something. It was sort of like Neotokyo.

The core mechanics weren't ironed out in the slightest and I don't think they even really tried to change half of what mattered especially the guns.
How do you fuck up a concept as cool as "Dudes in robot armor shoot dinosaurs with lasers and shit"
Primal carnage should totally do a free weekend as a middle finger to this and Dino D-day

Neat, bought it.
I don't see the need to hate a game. All i see is you hate the devs and all because they stole things, But most if that money was most likely from sponsors and stuff and not from 'your' own pockets. So why hate on a company's game, when the company should be shamed upon, but you should love the way a game works.

What? The game is shit, the devs are shit for renaming their first game and re-release it. If a game is shit as this, of course it gets hated?
Oh hey I remember this mod. This is like what happened with Revelations 2012.

Haha awesome, I started downloading this ORION thing but when I saw your post I uninstalled it and started downloading Primal Carnage instead.

Ever since they started they have done nothing but try to make the game look as pretty as possible and constantly feature creep without paying attention to all the basic mechanics of a shooter. It's really half-arsed and they refuse to acknowledge the criticisms that were given to them.
When Prassel was still on this forum trying to promote his mod he only ever responded to people making dumb posts or calling names and such, not once looking at people who were trying to give a lot of honest feedback and being in-depth about it.
I remember seeing the ORION: Dino Beatdown game when it was first released as its own game on Steam and thinking "Oh man this looks badass," and I convinced three of my friends to get it with me while it was on sale. They're never going to let me off the hook for that one.
