i have a power mac g4 and its running mac os 9.2.2 is there a way to install mac os x 10.4 on it ? if so where can i geet the software

Depends on the specs of the machine, but 10.4 is probably the latest you can install without slowing it to a crawl if you were to purchase a retail disc of it.
I don't think any newer versions would even install on it

10.5 is a universal build so while it may work on the PPC processor, I just presume that the installer won't install on the HD due to system requirements - probably RAM no doubt.
