My computer was recently infected by some random virus. I had Norton scan it, but nothing came up.
All I know is that it's preventing me to gain access to the Microsoft website and other Anti-Virus websites.
I also know that whenever I load my computer, it inserts:
127.0.0.1 jl.chura.pl
into my HOSTS file. I have also been having random Advertisements popping it.
Another thing is I have reformatted twice and this virus still exists.
You have completely reformatted twice and it's still there? Wow.
Is your windows CD, you know, legal?
The Windows CD may contain the virus if it's not the real thing.
It's possible its hiding in your ram.

See how that turns out.

Completely as in the main hard drive where Windows is stored. Yes?
I have mutiple hard drives, but I have ran diagnostics and I highly doubt that there's any virus in any of them.
EDIT:
Looks like I have Conficker A/B or a variant
oh jesus do NOT, DONT plug ANYTHING that can carry data.
Any resolutions to fix this?
I did plug in a USB drive, but I pulled it out before it said finished installing.

He formatted the computer twice, there cannot be in RAM. Ram is volatile.
If you have multiple drives the virus might have spread to the others, so don't open ANY executable files on the other drives before you have scanned your entire system with an up to date virus scanner..
I'd recommend formatting anything you ever plugged into that computer, including all your internal harddrives, and trying again.
God dammit, alright, I'll try that method.
This thread looks like the place to post it. I was watching some South Park online, and after I closed firefox Avira popped up with a message saying it had detected a virus called InfectedWebpage.gen or something along those lines. I told it to delete it. Does this mean that my PC is safe? Is it worth doing a full scan (I'd rather not have my family know about this, I'd get stick) or should I be fine that it got rid of it?
What HDD do you have? If you go to the company website ex. Westerndigital, you can find a tool that removes all of the shit off of your HDD. The reason the virus on your HDD still existed after two reformats, is simpily becuase the format program/application is encoded with complex codes writen and encrypted in formats such as binary, hex, base64, and other forms of encryption. Those types of encryption can be reversed, and is called a "reverse algorithm". So basicly the tool you can get at the site basicly destroy files beyond repair. But the format tool that comes with your computer (firmware) can be reversed.

You need to physically destroy your USB now.
It could also be hiding in your BIOS, maby try taking the battery out of the little socket it's in, on your mother board. It should be circular. You also might have to redo all of the shit in your BIOD setup menu. So you might want to know what your doing.
Shit -snip+_
Ho wow man you're fucked.
One thing that you can do is DBAN your hard drive before reinstalling windows.
And if you're that paranoid, you can disassemble your computer and rebuild it from scratch.
