My Teacher is fucking stupid (WARNING: BITCHY BULLSHIT)

Yup, this is another one of those stupid threads. I'm just so fucking irritated right now, and let me explain.
So we need to create all kinds of films in our class, being a Media class and all that jazz. Obviously we need to use editing software, and the only one we can use is Windows Movie Maker, available on the school computer. "So," you ask, sitting in your armchair, contemplating the possible cause of my anger, "what's the deal?"

Let me explain, when I say only, I mean ONLY. We're NOT ALLOWED to use any other editing software. Just MOVIE MAKER 2.6. I've argued with the , pardon me for using the term, Vapid Cunt about using other editing software. She reasoned that I, with my :science: Sony Vegas 8 :science: would have an unfair advantage of having a better product. I argued back, no, it only makes it easier to edit, besides, there are TONS of GOOD free/open-source editing programs that don't use LINEAR FUCKING EDITING. Her reasoning? "It's a learning experience" :eng99:

What the blue fuck. And the assignment I have (Create a short, independent documentary) is in trouble, because I need to use historical footage, which I can only download as .mp4, which good ol' Movie Maker doesn't support.

I had two last semester. The first one was a freshman composition 1 teacher. He was an exceptionally harsh grader who would flunk the assignment and the course if the research essay didn't have the sources cited just perfectly. On top of this, he assigned about 40 topics to choose from for said research essay. I chose "How children learn language". He commented that he didn't want a "sociology, child development, psychology, or literary paper". The librarians were baffled. This guy also wouldn't reply to e-mails if the subject wasn't formatted just right. I e-mailed him and never got a reply..So I guess I didn't format it correctly.

The second professor was for my introduction to biology for majors class. She would drone on and on about things and it would take her easily a week or more to finish a chapter. I never got back any of my papers that I turned in and she waited until after the semester ended to start grading. Towards the end off the semester, while we were all doing this massive zoo assignment (go to the zoo, fill out sheets on various animals, do a powerpoint on four animals and two plants), she dumped 5 web essays she wanted us to do. Apparently, she had forgotten to give them to us. The final test day was awful. By this point, out of 25 students, only about 13, including me were left. Not only did we have to present our powerpoints, we had to take the final test.

The damned powerpoints were no less than 30 slides due to all the information she wanted. Class started at 1 pm and we finally got done with all the powerpoints at about 6:30 pm..Then we took the final. Mind you, the class was supposed to run until 5:30 pm. Several people simply got up and left :/

I could out-program my Java Teacher last year within a few weeks. I could also recreate websites better than most people in the class, which was a project we had to do multiple times.

I could very well do the whole thing on Vegas and re-render it on movie maker, citing a technicality, but she'd fail me nonetheless.

There are a bunch of free converters online, but I've had bad experiences, from the video quality and bitrate hitting bottom no matter what, to the video and audio turing out completely garbled.

I had a teacher like that about 3 years ago. We got an assignment to make a trailer so I decided to make 'Superman Leaves' with a cross-eyes Kate Bosworth, Brandon Routh with his hair on fire and Kevin Spacey wearing one of those hats with helicopter blades on it using Photoshop and editing the whole thing in Vegas.

I was told to make a different one with WMM because I was being unfair to the rest of the class.

i had a programming teacher that would let me bring my laptop to class as it was better than the school computers themselfs,

(they had radeon 9200's and power supplys that ALWAYS shorted)

and therefor i had an advantage on the rest of the class
