the blood soaked uniforms of children are even more ruined because of how many times they've been put through this rinse cycle
I'll just ignore the multitude of studies that I read while doing multiple research papers on the subject. Trump knows better.
How many school children play or have played violent video games How many of them shoot up their school Fuck off. What about the 141 total school shootings that took place all before the release of PONG?
That's not how mental illness works...
here we go again
ISIS is well known for being violent because of video games, I don't know guys, he has a point [editline]23rd February 2018[/editline] I live in an alternate reality
Just waiting for Trump to appoint Jack Thompson as one of his WH staff or something now
Hitler clearly played too much CoD
I wonder how t_D's reacting to this, being that most of them are tweens
I wonder how t_D's reacting to this, being that most of them are tweens
I see nothing on their new section related to this at all, possibly because it's one of those pieces of news they can't justify without imploding
I see nothing on their new section related to this at all, possibly because it's one of those pieces of news they can't justify without imploding
To be fair, considering the timing of the article, most of them are in school right now, hence the silence. The rabbles shall commence after 3:00 PM EST, or after their designated nap time. Whichever is earliest.
I've been playing" violent" video games since I was 9, starting with Conker's Bad Fur Day, playing every Grand Theft Auto game since 3, Battlefield 1942 and every one since, not counting movies like Alien and Predator and lots of 80's and 90's action/horror like demolition man and die hard, yet I haven't shot anyone, nor have I ever wanted to. I actively avoid conflict with people. Sure the argument can be made that I was desensitize to violence, that's fair and probably accurate, but I'm not a violent person because of it since I was raised right by my parents and was taught right from wrong, nor was I raised in a hostile environment. That affected me more than any violent games or media could. People need to stop blaming games and media for turning people violent, it's been proven time and time again that it's bullshit.
This is just as dumb as blaming it on guns
This is just as dumb as blaming it on guns
well, until bullets start shooting out of PS Vitas and 3DSs at lethal velocities, not quite.
well, until bullets start shooting out of PS Vitas and 3DSs at lethal velocities, not quite.
It's not like a gun is going to spontaneously shoot anybody
Someone tell this idiot, gun violence has been a problem since they were invented. Before guns, knives and similar implements were used to kill. Stop using video games as a scapegoat.
It's not like a gun is going to spontaneously shoot anybody
And it's not like people are going to start shooting bullets out of their fingers either.
Person, speaking from ignorance, denounces thing.
It's not like a gun is going to spontaneously shoot anybody
It's also not like video games work remotely well as a direct means to facilitate a real life murder spree.
I find it more violent for him to keep saying he'll "do something" and then do nothing, than whatever violence happens in video games.
Ah another attempt of the older generation to blame something that they still don't and probably never will understand.
Just look at Japan, that whole country is so violent and dangerous because of video games. Oh wait.
It's not like a gun is going to spontaneously shoot anybody
the country with the most access to guns has a problem with guns hmm, I wonder what would happen if there were way less guns around... :mystery:
Just waiting for Trump to appoint Jack Thompson as one of his WH staff or something now
Looking up Jack Thompson again, he really does sound like Trump material.
Can confirm, I played Mario Odyssey and now I have killed 20 children
Well I played Mario World and killed ALL the children.
Violent games shape minds in the same way violent books shape minds
why do old men run the world? the cunt is 71 what the fuck does he know?
electronic old men and their flexibility has allowed us to make progress on the mythical city on the hills
