Would crossfiring another 5770 in a PCI Express 2.0 x4 slot be worth it?

I'm using this motherboard and I'm considering buying another HD 5770 and crossfiring it with my current 5770. However, I don't know if it'll be worth it, because the second PCI Express slot is only x4, instead of x16. I read that x4 performance is worse than x16, so I don't know if the performance gain from crossfiring two 5770s will make it worthwhile, instead of just buying a better video card in the future. Of course, buying another 5770 will be much cheaper than scrapping my current one and buying a better one in the future, but I don't know if crossfiring two 5770s, one in the x16 slot and the other in the x4 slot, will have much of an advantage over buying another video card in the future. Any advice on what to do?
Sell your 5770 and buy a 5850.
Bah, just realized that the second slot is actually a PCI Express x16 running at x1 instead of x4. This means that it'll be much worse, right? I'll probably just upgrade to a better graphics card in the future then, crossfiring two 5770s won't really do me much good because of that.

It doesn't even support Crossfire.

wait what
Eh, I guess that seals the deal for me. I'll just get a new graphics card when the time is right then.
I bet you're glad you posted on here first, huh.
Would have been a big waste of $150.

Definitely glad. I wish I posted here about my H55 mobo... the chipset doesn't even support Intel RAID!
