Steam was a godsend back then. I was never able to get TFC or CS online before I found it.

I played CS 1.6 on my brother's Steam when I was even younger
Back when they released TF2. I bought it and so I had to install Steam. Fucking hell I didn't ask for that!
To this day my only Steam app is TF2 and my hate for Steam has only grown because it has caused me
nothing but problems and hasn't managed to fill any practical function whatsoever.
The last thing my computer needs is more useless shit eating up ram...

Christmas of 2007. I got CS:S and DOD:S as a gift; I can still remember my first Counter Strike match. It was CS that got me into Gmod, which in turn led me here.
