I couldn't find a thread to put this in but... I repaired my iPhone 4 Verizon the other day because the screen was cracked. Now my service does not work outside my house. What could cause my service not to work outside my house? Everything works fine except that. What parts contribute to giving service? I need to know ASAP please! Does the grounding clip help with service? Or the gold 2 prong connector?
The antenna is the plug that goes next to where the battery connects. I can show you on mine later. The grounding clip and 2-prong connector are just grounds, don't worry about it if you lose them.

Verizon service is spotty for me too, but I at least consistently have service (if anything actually transfers between phone and tower is another story.) Run through this and make sure everything that plugs and screws is nice and tight. http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Installing+iPhone+4+Verizon+Cellular+Antenna/4884/1
