Oh god, the douche level was cranked up a notch. He was just badass and arrogant in Dante's Awakening, and then he matured a bit but kept his sense of humor. WHY THIS DANTE?
I love the new Dante, he looks fucking rad. Looks a shitload better than Devil May Cry 4 anyway.

Oh for the love of crap that whole rumor that they modeled Dante after Taneem Antoniades was a hunk of bollocks.
I was a little surprised by the dialogue between Dante and the giant worm demon but I suppose it makes kind of sense he'd want to rile them up considering that (according to the lore given) his childhood was pretty crapsack owing to the fact that the orphanage he lived in was run pretty brutally by demons. It's been stated that he's out for revenge, and - while it was pretty iffy at best - the dialogue showed that in the manner he spoke with the demon.
I'm also intrigued by the fact that there are other humans (at least that's me assuming they're humans) aside from Dante and his lady friend who know about the demonic side of Limbo City. Perhaps they'll be another faction to face as the game progresses?
Regardless, I still think this looks like a great looking game. NT look like they've nailed the classic DMC hack'n'slash and imo it looks even smoother and faster-flowing than the previous games.
The amount of teenager edginess shit almost made me throw up.
