decision to abandon add-on components - such as a higher quality audio processor - and a return to an irremovable battery.
Fuck. When the battery in my G3 went to shit, I just swapped out the battery, what a fuck up this is. They didn't mention anything about expandable storage either. If that's gone then I'm not replacing my G3 with a G6
Get a G5. I moved from a G3 to it ad I love it to bits

I thought about it since my friend did it too and highly recommends it but I want to see how long I can make this G3 last before it shits the bed completely. Already Chrome is nearly useless but I'm pretty sure that's on google's part
G5 owner here, can confirm it's quite nice other than the initial lemon I got and some odd quirks.
G5 is a plastic fantastic hunk of shit.
You're better getting a htc 10, way less gimmicks and general shit quality.
Had a G5, returned it because of a faulty fingerprint scanner, got an S7 instead and been fine since
As much as I like the idea of having your phone having a strong IP rating (in this case, IP 68), I feel like having a nonremovable battery is a huge turn off. It gives your phone a short lifespan. You can replace the battery with most likely just some prytools and a heatgun, but you will destroy your IP rating.
In my eyes, it ruins the value of the phone if you decide to resell it after 1 ½ years of use. So you'll have to trade off one of those features.
The rest of the G6 seems attractive. Their region only features (DAC, 64GB, Wireless charging) are absolutely destroying the hope in this phone.

It's just been crashing a lot when I open it. I can fix it by going into smart cleaning and wiping the app cache. I'm on the stock ROM.
I have been looking at the sony phones and chinese brands like xiaomi and huawei since they support microSDs. I'd rather pay off the phone monthly instead of paying all at once though even though I do know the benefits of actually owning the phone.
I do like the sony xperias since they're smaller. I don't use my phone like I used to since I got a notebook so I don't need a large screen to watch stuff when I'm bored.
Isn't split screen already a thing in nougat?
But its not quite split screen or something... I don't know exactly, its never the actual thing that its supposed to be with this damn stuff...
