As the title states, I was wondering what there is to do around here and if anyone would be willing to cart me around this place on a weekend or so? I'm currently stationed at the naval airbase here and I'm going to be here for a good couple of months.
usually whenever I'm in pensacola florida i create content filled and interesting threads
I'm afraid there's not all that much to do aside from going to the beaches when it's warm. There's Seville if you're in to clubbing, but I've never been there. There's paintball at Blue Angel Park on Sat/Sun which isn't terribly far from NAS. Also a pretty awesome little Mexican restaurant on gulf beach highway called Cactus Flower Cafe that I'd recommend.
Go see the Battleship in Mobile Bay.
Mardi Gras is on atm so go to the parades in downtown Mobile or Pensacola.
Visit Fairhope, its a very nice little villageish town on the east side of Mobile Bay, lots of little shops and eaterys. Have a taste of Felix's down on the causeway.
There are many things to do here, but most of the activity is either on the beaches/beachfront, or in Mobile.
I'm from Pensacola.
No I'm not going to cart you around. Stranger danger.
I'm in Pinellas Park, so close, but no cigar.
Well balls :P I hear mcgwyers is supposed to be really cool. I'm supposed to go on a run or sumthing for mardi gras so I could be in town for that. I just need to find shit to do :P
