Title is basically the issue. Programs such as MSN Messenger, Kayako LiveResponse and Steam do not auto-away me at all. I've tried reinstalling the programs but to no avail.
Its possible your mouse is very sensitive and keeps sending a small update signal to the PC making programs think you are still moving the mouse.
I tried unplugging my mouse entirely. No dice.
Bumping because I've tried everything I read online and it still fails to work.
What's a program that automatically kills all unnecessary processes? I'm not going through my 100+ running processes just to diagnose a small problem
Things I have tried:
Power Management options
Waiting for Screensaver (screensaver doesn't work either)
Making the Network Controller unable to "wake up" computer
does a screensaver pop up after leaving the computer for a while?
(Set it at one minute for easy testing)

No, a screensaver does not come on. And I whittled that down to 60+ max to get rid of background shit

I fixed it, seemed to be a driver issue
