Where's our fucking heists
Most of my friends and me have stopped playing GTA Online and moved onto other games, Rockstar really dropped the ball and missed an opportunity.
Keep your pants on, it's a such a big and polished game that not only has a very large singleplayer mode, but it has a (possibly even bigger than the singleplayer) multiplayer mode that needs constant tweaking, fixing, monitoring, balancing, adding new content that isn't announced yet, finishing up other shit. Not to mention Rockstar's also likely working on their next big project now as they usually do when one project is finished, so that means there's less people to work on it - this includes the PC port of GTA V which includes all of the work put into the console multiplayer needs to work perfectly/as best as they can get it for release. Rockstar has very high standards of anything, so my estimated guess is that they're not quite happy with heists yet while juggling all the other shit that they usually do.
i just want IV-esque multiplayer

Yeah, I think them having announced it first was a very bad idea if they weren't done with it. Because they have such high standards for anything they release it usually takes them forever to finish any projects. However we usually don't know about these development times, but since they showed us all these nice features in the trailer we are stuck with our thumbs up our asses waiting for them to finish it. I hope they don't announce features like this again, it just makes people annoyed if it takes them to long to release them.
It's literally been half a year.

Fallout NV and most other games have completed full arcs of DLC within six months.
when heists get released they'll be broken and not at all what you expected just fyi
i'm still waiting on the patch that makes it fun to play
I'm stilling waiting for Highway to The Danger Zone to be added to the game. They got Kenny fucking Loggin to me the classic rock radio DJ and they don't have that song.

It was fun to play for a week. Not launch week either. That was terrible. But like the week after that was solid GTA V.
Then I just got bored. Kinda sad considering how impressive the marketing looked.
You guys who find it boring really just dont know what to do with it. Its a amazing world to play in, and i cant see it getting boring anytime soon.
So much for being goty when the reactions in here are "meh".

2013 was the year of "meh".
I don't understand how they ended up making it so unfun, why did everything have to be under the horrible metagame? Why can't I just free-roam without worrying about cops, or being able to have every vehicle spawn without a level restriction, or worry about money.
Or have good gamemodes.
Or playing a game mode in a way that it doesn't take eight years to join a match/select a team/menu to progress.
Online was a massive let down even with friends, hell I even enjoyed the IV online much more the V's.
Not wanting to kick anyone in the balls here with my criticism but GTA IV had better multiplayer than GTA V. I had a lot of fun with my friends in multiplayer matchmaking owning others with the AK-47 to just doing drag races in the street with fancy, stolen cars.

It kinda was. GTAV promised this and that but didn't deliver shit.
GTA 5 was ruined by GTA Money. Im sure if they didnt have those microtransactions, missions would reward more money.
