I didn't choose the K version of the CPU because he doesn't do overclocking, I don't think he even knows what is it.
He mostly plays HoN, FC3 and BF3.I think he'd be amazed if he can run BF3 on ultra with 60fps as well as FC3 on his new PC.
Much better option. You don't need an aftermarket cooler if you dont overclock. You don't even need a z87 but its in his budget so might as well.

You're just wasting money buying a motherboard with a Z87 chipset if you don't plan to buy an overclockable processor (one with a numerical designation that ends with a K, like 4670K). If you still want an MSI motherboard, but your friend doesn't want to overclock now or in the future, this MSI H87 board should fit the bill just fine. Also, Seagate drives have higher failures rates than other mechanical hard drives, you should get this slightly cheaper and much more reliable Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB drive.

-If he can push his budget up to 1000$ then I might buy H87-G43 gaming and GTX 770 instead.
-I picked Avexir ram because they glow.If my friend doesn't want glowing ram then I might buy other ram instead.
-I think LG optical drives are more reliable than ASUS optical drives so I won't change it.I also heard that ASUS drives make loud noise when they're working.

I get that you think it's hot where you live and that the cpu might get hot, but that $50 watercooler is the most overkill thing ever for a locked cpu. Airflow inside the case is as important, and the stock coolers the i5 come with are designed to make sure they don't go above their designed thresholds. My point is that you could easily throw a 770 into this budget if you're a bit smarter about what you're buying.
A bit over budget just cause I included two case fans as well if you're worried about temps. The EVO is overkill on the cpu either way, you could get pretty much any aftermarket cooler and get better temps than on the stock cooler. The only reason to buy caviar black is if you like the sticker.

That build will not run DayZ Mod or SA with all settings maxed and no lag. I spent 3,000 USD on my desktop and I get anywhere from 40-70 fps in DayZ SA. You aren't going to see stable frames until Dean adds Multi-Core support and x64.
I have essentially the same GPU, and the 4670k and I can max out dayz no problem.
I'm just trying to make a point that he will be experiencing lag. There is really no getting around it until Dean adds the required support.
My friend doesn't know well about computer really. If he experiences lag, he'd just lower graphic settings down. It's one of the reasons why he's asking me to buy computer parts for him.
Lol who cares about warranties for hdds? If it breaks somehow I wouldn't want another one from them either way.
Hard drives fail lilyo. They're usually the first thing to go in a system. I get in dozens a week.
Except he's paying $30+ for an extended warranty basically (both blue and barracuda have 2 year warranties). If the drive fails in a year or two for some reason you'll probably be able to just buy a new one for that $30
Everything eventually fails. I have used WD Black for years and haven't had a problem YET. I can accept a failure simply because it's inevitable.
I still recommend the seagate though
