i've been being DDoS'd for the past day on and off by some kid mad over gmod.
Basically I got the ip of the vpn that is dishing out the attack, but when i called the guy was speaking in russian so i just hung up. Now the kids who own the vpn are just script kiddies and did not encrypt their VPN at all, so using Verizon's 'evil port" I gained access to their Login screen, and that's where i need help. I'm not looking for revenge, i just need help stopping them and i feel the only way that is possible is if someone were to gain their login credentials. if anyone could do this for me it would be much appreciated.
The IP to logon is : 184.19.137.240:4567
(Sorry for not being able to capitalize letters, my shift key doesn't work very well.)
If you're only getting attacked by one IP address it's not a distributed denial of service, it's just a denial of service.
Besides getting an expensive network appliance to filter out the SYN/ICMP floods or whatever they're doing, just disconnect your cable/DSL modem for a few hours. They'll get bored and you'll get a new IP address so the attack will stop.
That VPN is connected to several computers that are being used to dish out the attack, my ISP won't change my IP either, which is why i wanted to take the offensive.

Tried blocking the IP's attacking?

Assuming he even had a powerful enough router to do such a thing (most home oriented routers can't), it still wouldn't stop your internet connection from being crippled by the traffic.
