Definitely would recommend it for these games.
Don't care if it's in english or subtitled, all I know is I need it asap.
Worried how censored it will be

Accept subs only. Japanese Audio means Akio Otsuka as Skull Knight and that is the only voice capable of fitting the character.

If they're fine with putting Post-Eclipse Waterfall scene Casca in as a pre-order skin and having the eclipse rape as the very first trailer, I highly doubt it will be censored if at all. Not to mention how bloody the screenshots are.
Any time that I'm sad, this pops up somewhere and reminds me that there is a god somewhere that loves me.

Its' D rated which is 17+
So yeah it won't be very gorey.
This is due to Koei Tecmo having a company policy of not releasing any Z rated video games (18+).

All that is for the JPN release so far. The promo video on the eng website cuts the Casca part down to like 3 seconds which is worrying.

I'm sure most people could sacrifice a bit of censorship if it means we can get the game.
Not to mention the possibility of modding/reactivating censored content.
I am stuck on boo 22,23,24 ish? will this video spoil the events past them or is it safe to play this game?

No idea where and when this is but the game runs from the Golden Age Arc to the The Hawk of the Millennium Arc
Now if they only did a PC rerelease of FotNS games and released this, then I'd be quite happy.

If the game goes all the way to the completion of the millennium falcon arc, that would be at around volume 35.

so i should read the manga up until then or will this be a story driven game that i won't need to read the manga before? also i really fucking hope the pc one coems with a box cover

I'm not sure how much story will be in the game. I've never really played a dynasty warriors game, so I don't know how they're structured, but it'd probably be a safe bet to say that there will be quite a few references to events throughout the series.

My bet is them making it somewhat like with OPPW3 with "important events" being cutscenes/battles and the "less important events" are mostly skimmed through.

oooooh okay i see so i think i will read the manga first and then play the game?
Personally I want the game to be dubbed, but I think it's more likely they won't bother.
I feel like this was perfectly timed for me, I just stumbled across the golden age arc on Netflix and ended up watching them all in one night a month back. Then I find out it's getting a game, and another anime.

I very much recommend the 1997 anime and of course the manga if you haven't checked those out. The manga has incredible art and more of the story, and the 1997 anime is a better adaptation than the newer stuff in my opinion.
Berserk is some good shit
The movies are a good way to get someone hooked imo, and I only say that since it got me into berserk. The way i see it, you should save the manga for last since it has the most story.
I read the Manga and then watched the anime and really enjoyed it. But it was hard to get over some of the very important details they skipped. The movies were even worse.
But the story and atmosphere of berserk is so great that no matter what you do first it's gonna be a good experience.
As Rich said though, it's a damn shame about the new anime. I was so excited for it. At this point I recommend people to watch the classic anime and then read the manga.
Hope the game does well, will be a day one purchase for me.
