For the past week or so I've been having a problem with my g500s mouse. It double clicks when I press the button just once. It's pretty annoying. I tried using different ports, different computers (even virtual machines) and the problem is still there.

Not really an option at this point in time.
If the mouse is old/used a lot than there's not much that can be done. this happened so many times for me over the years and it basically signals that the mouse is on the old side and verge of breaking.
