I got it for cheaper by using hola unblocker on the origin store to change currency to pesos and checking out with paypal, rounded to about 37 dollars. I loved the beta, it is such a great game!
Origin runs much better than Steam tbh and I don't have a problem with using two game launchers

You don't even need run Origin to play Origin games. Also, playing FPS on consoles always felt stupid.

That sounds tempting, I just looked it up from the UK and it drops it to £22 from £44.99. I'm just wondering if they'll notice is all, then again a friend of mine got a Russian copy of BF3 and it was fine.

I hooked my controller up to my PC and played for a little bit, there is aim assist in the game
Looks fun, but not 60$ fun.

I can't say I like this sort of elitism. Sure, playing FPS on PC is [I]better[/I], but it's not wrong to play on console. I think everyone should just play on whatever they choose to without it being said that whatever they chose is wrong.

It's not elitism if you legitimately feel crippled playing a FPS with a controller, there's a reason you're not allowed to just plug in your keyboard & mouse on most online console shooters.

I'd prefer if it did have single player or player vs bots like in CoD Black Ops or some kind of survival/horde/firefight type mode. Just something for those of us who like the gameplay/aesthetics of the game but don't want to deal with other players all the time.

Its 1 gun called the smart pistol.
People think its some aimbot super gun but its shit compared to everything else.
Its fantastic vs the infantry AI since its instant lockons.
But it takes like 5 seconds to lock on a player, so you can just carbine the smart pistol guy down in like 2 seconds.

smart pistol locks in in about a second with the enhanced targeting upgrade, and don't even get me started on the amped smart pistol from burn cards
people underestimate how effective it can actually be in a battle with another weapon if they shoot first

What I meant by 'Really' was the author thought Origin would be a problem.. There is nothing wrong with it.

sometimes i think they're just manual aiming, which i'm fine with, but then i see the killcams and i see otherwise, locks on quite fast, enough for it to hold its own in 1on1 combat
What most people fail to realize about the Smart Pistol though is how incredibly powerful the other guns actually are - any situation that you might think that "oh well I locked on in like a second and I was cloaked the entire time" - over the time you even noticed that you were DONE locking on you could have already popped the guy with a shotgun blast, or shot an entire assault rifle magazine into him during the lock-on. Really, the only situation I can think of where I'd prefer to have the smart pistol and cloak instead of something like SMG and Stim (Stim's a big temporary run speed boost) is when I've sneaked up on two dudes and want to pop them both at once without the other noticing. You'd think the automatic aiming would help against wallrunning dudes, but in reality, maintaining a lock at that situation is about as hard as just shooting the dude with full auto. Only thing I'd complain about the smart pistol is how decent it is in manual aiming. It one-shots grunts, two shots spectres and 4 shots pilots, which is surprisingly lethal and can hold it's ground more than sufficiently in close quarters one on ones
If a FPS is released on several platforms I will always favor PC if only for the fact aiming with a mouse doesn't feel like such a fucking mess.

Amen brotha, the mouse is simply the best implement for aiming and shooting in most FPS.
