It's all well and good having a satire on indie games, but observational humor only goes so far when you don't flip it around at all.
Like with DNF, "I hate valve puzzles" and then straightfacedly solves the valve puzzle.
Well, at least they're honest.
When did the Date Movie guys start working on videogames?
Needs more satire of Binding of Isaac
I'm pretty sure I played this on a Flash game site at one point.
Yeah uh this is a flash game and it isn't trying to be ~witty~ and ~self-aware~, it's serious.

Who knows why the fuck they are selling this for five dollars.

I actually liked that. I can't imagine who would pay money for that though.

Because people will buy it

This makes me want to whip up some stupid game in a day, title it "I Made This Game In A Day" and get it posted on Steam. When people inevitably complain about the game, I'll ask "Why did you buy it?"
remember when steam didn't just allow any old shit

Yeah, and during that time there were also tons of very good games that were denied to get on Steam for absolutely no reason given by Valve besides "lol no." It's a bit of give and take really, Steam needs quality control, but it does NOT need to go back to an obscured impossible to figure out system like it was just because games are getting on that people don't like.
Also a game being made in Flash isn't a good enough reason to not sell it. An engine or language is never a good reason to think a game would be bad or unworthy of selling. I'm not interested in the game personally, but saying it shouldn't be sold because it was made using a certain language is pretty silly, besides it's the price of a bad hamburger.
Actually, I'm fine with all the games, good or not, new or old, that get released on Steam. It's not like anyone's making me buy them. Just a wider selection in case there are some games I'm interested in among the 'trash-releases', like 7.62 High Caliber which is awesome despite being technically shitty, or Roller Coaster Tychoon 2 that just got released.
