wait isn't this the Kekistan flag? How is it a neo-nazi flag? Did I miss something? Then the author goes out of his way to quote Zoe Quinn at the end.

If anything they should be apologizing for having added such a gross meme into their game.

This seems like something that would have done them better to not draw attention to, rather just change the texture without reason. Seems odd that they're going out their way to call out themselves. Didn't hear anything about this till I saw their tweets.

I mean, yeah, there's some slight similarities, but had they not mentioned it, I doubt people would form hate clans where you have to wear this armor to join. That's just silly.

I have this armor in game and they just reskinned the world model but the model that shows when you view your guardian is still the same... Hm.

So it's not good enough to be sorry for offense over something trivial, but you have to be sorry for offense over something that maybe sort of resembles it but not really, too?

Probably thought that in the time it would take to edit the texture and implement the patch, someone would pick up on it and then there goes your millions-dollar marketing campaign. This way they take a bit of a hit (for making themselves look stupid) but that's a small price to pay for seeming proactive. A knee jerk reaction, but an understandable one, given today's political minefields.
