Epic is managing to kill the grudge I have against them, I've even bought this Season's ~Battle Pass~ because as long as I keep playing it at the rate I am, I won't have to buy next season's, or presumably the one after that, because they give you enough premium currency to just keep rolling it over. Even if I didn't want to pay the $10 asking price, I could still play 5 or so seasons for free (I believe these last around two months? I've only really been playing much this past few weeks) to build up enough to get the pass then.
Shame that unless interest in BR keeps up the game's going to die. It's fun, but unless you like the PvE mode I've heard nothing but bad things about, it's kind of a one-trick pony. They've got a great base game, but I'd like to see some Battlefield-esque modes in addition to the current fad for longevity.

I really love the PVE mode and can say little but [I]good[/I] things about it. It's really really enjoyable for me.

PvE is a great gameplay loop buried under a mountain of shitty mechanics and grinding.

So much this. Refine shooting mechanics, hell even just add a Deathmatch mode and I'll have so much more fun with it.
I have been trying to get into Fortnite more and I do enjoy it when I play with my flatmate but there is just something off about the controls or the shooting I just cannot put my finger on. It seems like there is too much delay or some sort of floatiness? I feel like where I aim makes very little difference as long as it is in the general direction of the enemy. Obviously these are exaggerations and some of it is because of how shit I am, but I just want more of a sense I hit and downed someone and it was because of my skill.

That would be the insane amount of bloom on guns, no first shot accuracy, and everything being hitscan.
Yeah, they should have changed it by now.
