Is it possible with a budget of 100$? I figure I only need to upgrade the graphics card. I think it's bottlenecking the rest of my computer, excuse me if I used the term wrong. I just want to be able to run Metro 2033/STALKER/Bad Company 2, etc....most new games. I don't care if I gotta run them on low, but I'd expect at least 60fps+ on low.
Thanks! V:v:V
no
No.
You're better off saving for a new computer.
even if you do upgrade your GPU, you're not going to get anywhere with that Pentium D
I kind of thought that, this was a quick answer.

No. 350 pounds will build you a computer that will run BBC2 at 60+ FPS
I dont know about stalker[by that i mean i have never played stalker], but Metro? NO.
I run S.T.A.L.K.E.R. perfectly fine on a pentium 4, the other games are out of my PC's league.

I only upgraded from a Pentium 4 a year or so. Only up to a Core 2 Duo, too. The Pentium 4 is sat behind me now, gathering dust. Should really set up a server of some sort up with it.
Also you have xp. Metro 2033 doesn't run on it from what I remember

It does, just no dx10 or AA
You guys can let this thread die, I'm going to save up around 1000$~ and ask for a new build in a new thread.
