I have a feeling they might have left it on purpose. It seems like a silly thing to not notice when finishing your game by having DLC unlocked by an ini file.
They need to fix their sound.
One level its strangely quiet, the next level it's stupidly loud.
Also when someone gunzerks near you, your sound muffles like theirs does.
And that damn talking shotgun/shield, holy shit.

In the Borderlands 2 folder you should have a folder called DLC (if you bought any of the version that had "exclusive" DLC in them with something like this inside:
"DLC"
|____"POPremierClub"

Stuff in-between "" are folders, in-between <> are files, if you don't have them, create them, here's that they should have inside originally:

I can't really copy the contents of steam_0.bin because they are non-unicode characters, so for this one you'll have to create the file and then edit it in an hex editor so that it contains the following:

To unlock the DLCs just edit the WillowDLC.ini file and modify it to look like this:

If you want more keys (which I don't because I think it's cheating), just edit the line that says +NumKeys=1 and change the 1 to the number you want, it can't be above 254 though.

There's this quest where you have to push a minecart, near the mine there's an easter egg where there are some hidden minecraft blocks, you can break them (by melee or shooting) to find a secret area, I'm not going to spoil further than that.

I figured as much, that's why I didn't do it (and because it's cheating), I figured they were going to deal with it since they plan on using the keys for community events.
Not sure what they're going to do about the exclusive DLC unlocking, I'm guessing not much, Gearbox is generally a chill company when it comes to exploits so I'm guessing no bans or anything of the kind.

Well seeing as we could edit our saves and create hilariously cheaty weapons with save editors in BL1 without consequence I can see why people miiight think nothing would happen. It's not like you pay for keys AFAIK.
I would understand a ban/removal of DLC from the easy unlock though, seeing as you pay for DLC 90% of the time.

I don't think they'll ban anyone, in Borderlands 1 you could edit the weapons and make some pretty weird stuff, then they patched it so that only "valid" weapons were allowed (but you can still edit the saves and make those), I was kinda disappointed since I was no longer able to create kickass grenade launchers using rocket launcher parts and grenades as ammo :v:
They'll probably just patch it so that Steamworks checks what you do actually have, what's the point of using Steamworks just for connecting to friends when you can have it as a cheat protection system?

I don't get what's the issue with cheating in a game such as borderlands, where you don't play with strangers. At least in the first one it never bothered me, mostly because playing with a stranger was a fucking nuisance since they never share any loot or did stupid shit beyond the 1-shot everything weapons.
Making weapons with a save editor was a cool end-game time killer too.
I'll read the rest of it tomorrow.
